The first race of 2006. And on the new Assen circuit. The GP circuit has been
shortened to 4.555 meters and there is no 'national' circuit anymore. So we
now use the same circuit as the MotoGP guys which makes comparing myself to
Rossi a lot easier :-)
The first practice was on a wet track! Or maybe damp is a better word. I was 19th with a laptime of just over 3 minutes.
During qualifying practice there was a dry line becoming wider as the practice progressed. I bettered my time to finish qualifying in 31st position with a 2.36.557 minute lap.
I finished 27th in both races. Best laptime was 2.30.48.
